TENJIN (LAMA) – MAN BEHIND THE SUMMIT SUCCESS IN DHAULAGIRI I (8167m)
Tenjin Sherpa (aka LAMA) one of the veteran Sherpa Sardar (Guide) at Seven Summit Treks, breaking the trail in Dhaulagiri I this autumn.
~ On 30th September at 9 Am Lama started opening the route in Dhaulagiri from Camp III, after 21+ hours of continued effort and hazard climb, along with his fixing team partners he managed to reach the top, being the first of the season to reach the summit of Mt. Dhaulagiri I (8167m).
~ Tenjin (LAMA) holds the Guinness World Records title of “Most siblings to climb Mt. Kangchenjunga together” as he along with his three brothers together reached the summit of Kangchenjunga between 5:00 and 5:15 p.m. on 15 May 2019. Inhabited of Makalu, Sankhuwasbha, Lama climbed Everest twice, Kangchenjunga once, Lhotse twice, Dhaulagiri twice, Manaslu 5 times and several 7000ers and 6000ers in Nepal.
~ Earlier in 2021 (Spring) was a part of fixing team in Everest and Lhotse as well.
