La linea, battezzata “Luftig kö till nålens öga”, si trova nella zona di Kjugekull, nel sud del Paese
Adam Ondra ha concluso la sua prima visita in Svezia, durata un solo giorno, con il difficile concatenamento di “Luftig kö till nalens öga”, un super masso 8B.
Lo scalatore ceco si è così espresso sui social:
“Prima volta che faccio bouldering in Svezia… e che giornata è stata”. L’atleta si è concentrato su un singolo boulder nella zona di Kjugekull, nel sud del Paese, che offre “diverse linee di alta qualità”.
Ondra scrive che aveva visto il tetto di quel masso in un video, anni fa, e gli era rimasto impresso nella mente, come una delle cose da fare.
“La partenza più alta è “Luftig kö tilt nålens öga”, originariamente gradata 8B+ e successivamente proposta come 8B. La partenza più bassa è chiamata “Den nattliga havsfärden”, valutata originariamente 8C dal suo primo salitore Carl Nilsask e recentemente ripetuta da Paul di Pauer Bouldering, che ha suggerito un probabile 8B+”, spiega il ceco.
Adam ha ricevuto da quest’ultimo una descrizione dettagliata delle sequenze e si è lanciato in un tentativo flash su Luftig kö fino a nålens öga. “Tutto è andato molto bene, ho messo a punto tutti i dettagli tecnici alla perfezione e mi sono ritrovato all’uscita, dove è stato davvero impegnativo (non ricordo quando ci ho provato così intensamente nell’arco di un secondo) ed ero sveglio! Penso che un 8B duro si addica a questa linea.”
Il ceco ha poi passato il resto della giornata provando la partenza da seduto “Den nattliga havsfärden” (8C). “Ci sono andato vicino – ha commentato – ma dovrò tornare!”.

First time bouldering in Sweden 🇸🇪 and what a day! Pretty unique how one single bloc can produce such amazing quality lines. I saw a video of this unique compression roof-arete a few years ago and I knew I absolutely HAD TO climb this thing one day. I had a great crew with strong locals, lots of beta available and amazing and motivating vibes 👌
The higher start to this arete is “Luftig kö till nålens öga” originally graded 8B+, then 8B was suggested. The lower start is called “Den nattliga havsfärden”, originally graded 8C by first ascentionist Carl Nilsask and repeated by instagram.com/pama.luc recently, suggesting maybe 8B+.
At first, I was described a perfect beta by instagram.com/pama.luc 👊 I went for the flash of higher start, “Luftig kö till nålens öga”. Everything flowed really well, I got all the technical details perfectly on this compression beast and I found myself at the final cut-loose, where I just tried really, really hard (can’t remember when I had tried so hard in the span of just a second) and I was on the top. I think hard 8B fits this line 😎
Then I went for the sitstart, and kept giving tries until late evening, I got close, but I will have to return! I think this start could be soft 8C? Amazing line and a day not to forget! Thank you, the whole Kjuge crew 🤜🤛

Zajímavý vidět, že jeden jediný švédský 🇸🇪 šutr může mít tolik krásných linií. Před několika lety jsem viděl video unikátní stropové hrany a hned jsem věděl, že toto někdy MUSÍM vylézt! Potkal jsem se zde se silnými místňáky, kteří mi poradili kroky a “vibe” byl opravdu neuvěřitelný, i přes pěknou kosu 👌
Vyšší start do této hrany se jmenuje “Luftig kö till nålens öga” původně oklasifikováno 8B+, ale poté bylo navrženo i 8B. Nižší start se jmenuje “Den nattliga havsfärden”, původně 8C od prvovýstupce @carl.nilsask a nedávno zopakováno od @pama.luc, který sw vyjádřil, že možná 8B+ 😎
Prvně instagram.com/pama.luc/ 👊 skvěle popsal “betu” a šel jsem na flash vyššího startu “Luftig kö till nålens öga”. Začal jsem skvěle, trefil jsem vše na 100% a najednou jsem byl v posledním těžkém kroku vypuštění nohou, kde jsem prostě strašně zabral (nepamatuju si dlouho, kde bych tak moc zabral v rámci jedné sekundy) a byl jsem nahoře! Myslím, že težké 8B této linii sluší.
Potom jsem šel na sitstart, dával jsem pokusy až do pozdního večera, byl jsem blízko, ale nakonec jsem se musel vzdát. Myslím, že tento start by přeci jen mohl být lehčí 8C? Každopádně super boulder a nezapomentelné odpoledne 🤜🤛
