La taiwanese Grace Tseng e la sua squadra, nella tarda mattinata di venerdì scorso hanno iniziato la loro prima rotazione verso Campo 1, raggiungendo in serata il Campo Base Avanzato, dove hanno trascorso la notte.
Sabato 29 gennaio 2022, il team ha raggiunto i 5.500 metri di quota ma, a causa dei forti venti e della neve sono stati costretti a rientrare al Campo Base.
Le condizioni meteo sembrano essere sfavorevoli al K2 fino alla prossima settimana, quindi tutti i membri del team sono in attesa di una nuova finestra per salire al campo più alto.
