#k2 Winter Expedition 2021/22 update.
After couple of days at C2, our team today decided to descend Base camp the strong winds unfavourable and uncomforted them to stay more at C2.
Initially the plan was to stay more days at C2 to wait the improvement of weather but unfortunately couldn’t! The next few days reports more strong winds.
The C3 has been fixed and our team aiming to climb higher and the next moment could be the summit push if the weather improved and permits.

Dopo un paio di giorni a Campo 2 (6.760 m), la squadra della taiwanese Grace Tseng ha deciso di scendere al Campo Base del K2 a causa dei forti venti.
Il piano iniziale era di rimanere più a lungo al Campo 2 e attendere il miglioramento delle condizioni meteo “ma purtroppo non è stato possibile – spiega il team – Sono previsti altri forti venti nei prossimi giorni”.
“Il C3 è installato e la nostra squadra punta a salire più in alto. La prossima volta potrebbe essere quella della spinta alla vetta se il tempo migliora e lo permette”.
